TOKYO (Reuters) - A man who said he was tired of life went on a stabbing rampage on Sunday in a crowded Tokyo shopping street, killing seven people and wounding a dozen others.

The man drove a rental truck into a crowd of pedestrians at lunchtime and then walked down the street knifing passers-by in Akihabara district, known for its discount electronics and maid cafes.

Akihabara, that place has been portraited in so many animes it almost feel like I know the place. And it's possibly on the "go to" list of many people who wants to go to Japan one day..

I really hope Japan doesnt go into a state of fear however. Psychos appear in any society no matter how much control the government exerts over its people. No amount of laws or security cameras is going to stop someone like that guy.
