3rd Russian Film Festival in London will screen First Squad

Academia Rossica is currently organising the 3rd Russian Film Festival in London. As part of the programme they're going to screen a japanese / russian anime film called First Squad (<a href="http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1343712/">IMDb entry here</a>
It's in Russian but there will be subtitles.

Excellent! I was asking about this film a few months back. Are tickets on sale to the general public? There doesn't seem to be a link?

Will this ever get a UK relase on DVD/BluRay?

Anyway, I've seen the clip and it was looking pretty interesting. Watching anime dubbed in Russian might also be an interesting experience =D
 
Yep, that was me. Deffo looks an interesting film and I'm loving the character styles.

It's payday tomorrow so I'll see how my finances are and I'll get myself a ticket.

BTW, Kaede - did you make to Sword of the Stranger on Monday?
Id you did I'm in an disadvantage, as you have seem me and I don't .I was the first guy from the audience to ask a question that night.

Argh I have a really terrible memory! What question did you ask, then I'll remember! I stayed at the talk for about half an hour but had to leave as I think my girlfriend was getting a little restless, bless her. When the guy started asking questions about hi-def I was like "We're off!"

I'm the only japanese guy who asked questions. I've asked about heroman.
