When I dropped the Arpeggio anime, I said I would get the manga. So that one for me. I've got the Haganai volume on my to-get list even though I already read Shobon before it was announced as licensed.

Starting Arpeggio, caught my eye a while back when the Anime was announced and now there's a ton of movies and such coming out so it's worth a go

Continuing Haganai, Sacred Blacksmith & Niekoi

Continuing Haganai

It's not 'continuing' - it's a spin off that's not even written by Hirasaka. It's reasonably decent given that, though - the characters are all more-or-less in character and it feels as though most of the things depicted really could have happened.

This is an interesting psychological approach to take to spin-off manga. Surely if you don't believe these things to have happened (in the context of the series), but you believe the premise of the spin-off is that they did, then you are just acknowledging that you are reading fanfiction.

Isn't that what it basically is though? Officially approved and professionally written fanfiction?

Lol, I knew when I posted someone would point out it's not a continuation in some form

I think this is like concluding that officially approved and professionally made Gucci bags are all knock-offs because they weren't personally created by Guccio Gucci himself.

Nothing on my main to-buy list at the moment, a couple titles to catch up on when I get around to reading them (Sacred Blacksmith, Nisekoi)
