Today was deffinately a good day for R2 releases. Gantz and ROD The Tv vol.3

ROD The TV #3 shipped a little late, but SAC #6 Ive watched and Last Exile #6 is sitting next to my player.

Personally, I've ordered Last Exile #6 and Texhnolyze #3 (will get ROD TV when I can), and I'll be renting DNAngel and Gantz.

I would check out Gantz if it wasn't released by MVM.

Bit of an odd thing to say. It's 3 discs less than ADV's US release, so I'm not going to complain about that at least!

I bought this yesterday and I didn't notice any problems really, but then I don't have an uber setup with surround sound or anything! :?

Yeah but each volume is a lot cheaper plus they look a lot nicer than anything MVM can release.

The last MVM DVD I bought was R.O.D the TV volume 1 for £17.99 online. Thats a lot of money considering how ugly everything looked. The cover was faded and looked like it had been left in the sun for a year, the title of the DVD looked like it was added in with word art, the menu screens looked tacky and like they were slapped together in minutes. The DVD cover didn't even fit in the case right. Overall just really ugly to look at and for that price you'd expect something that looks at least half decent.

Some people arn't bothered about that sort of thing but i'm afraid I am. I've seriously seen better quality bootlegs.

what about the content itself? i never dwell on the cover art much as long as the show itself is done well. the case is just there to stop the disc getting dusty, after all.
