It felt a bit strange to watch the subs-only release of Gunbuster 2. Inexplicably, because I rarely watch a dub for anything more than curiosity, but I noticed the lack of it nonetheless. Still, assuming Beez follow suit with a subs-only release it'll calm the sting of those BBFC charges...

This is genuinely upsetting. I love the manga and it's always been a bit of a relief that no one's attempted to animate it. The art style just doesn't lend itself well to the medium, and it would take some serious talent (like Madhouse, like people have said, or better yet Production I.G.)...
