That explains the main image of the single turtle. I wasn't aware of the source material though given the style of the teaser that makes sense. Hadn't thought about that in terms of gameplay; never liked Bayonetta (and I totally suck at that type of game) so I'll keep my expectations low.

Given there's little inconsistency to what Crunchyroll does that's impossible to predict, but I don't recall them doing any complete season rereleases for what was already released in two parts in recent times, except for the cases where they did a steelbook. Maybe I'm forgetting something though?

I wondered about that but didn't know if it was the case. That definitely makes it worth it because all DVD subtitles I've seen are huge and also pretty unattractive where they tend to kind of spoil the experience for me.

Just be very sure of this before doing it. I've never done that on any large scale but long ago did it in some smaller sense a few times, and sometimes came to regret it later.
