I've been going through my longest drought since I got into anime at the start of 07. It started at the end of 2011 (when I'm afraid OP, I got into FiM) and I spent most of 2012 more interested in Western LA shows and in recent months I've reconnected with Western cartoons (Adventure time...
Getting near to the end of the Dororo omnibus.
Read almost 500 pages in one day when I first started it, I kept reading a chapter, putting it down and ending up wanting to go back to read another chapter whenever I started anything else :)
Set Paprika to be recorded after seeing this topic earlier, so I don't let my iffy memory get the better of me.
Already seen Ponyo, and caught Ocean waves when there was a lot of Ghbili films on around Christmas time.
The omnibus editions of Dororo, Ayako and Velveteen & Mandala.
I have no real exposure to any of them, other then thinking Dororo sounded interested when I saw a synopsis a few weeks back.
Took these a few days ago. Alas I can't get a good angle from in my room and I've also discovered I have very unsteady hands, so couldn't get a clear image
^That's most of my manga, I have some other volumes in other places while I sort things out
^anime shelf
Kobato volume 1, pretty cute so far. Glad I picked up the short series, having dropped the anime when I fell far behind and wasn't all that interested in it.
The first few volumes of Sakura hime, Bakuman and Black god.
And because I'm an idiot who likes to make things complicated whenever I seem to be getting on top of ongoing series becoming completed- the One piece 3-in-1 editions, since from my brief experience with the anime it feels like...
Aw balls with the reduction in the import limit PA was going to be my go to place for multi region blu-rays.
Had been planning on picking up a few...for several months and never got around to it.
I have the first 19 volumes, with this and Negima coming to an end, two of the longer running series I've been collecting for a few years come to an end.
I've already heard on ANN it isn't much of an ending :/
Tried various new shows today.
Space brothers 1+2, enjoyed it, probably my favourite show today
Mysterious girlfriend X- I don't even
Haiyore! Nyaruko-san and also that show about the polar bear cafe.
And episodes 22-25 of Hunter x hunter
South park S10 + 11, supernatural S3 and season 4 of Dexter.
For the latter ones I still need to watch earlier seasons, but I figured getting them while on offer would work best :)
There's that and also for me from anime/manga experiences the general feeling as well of: "If I forget about this for a while it might go out of stock"
Also a lot of filler for birthday/Christmas presents as I find just getting money boring- I want presents dammit
Lets see...
