    Viz license Bleach

A good start might be to keep things on topic- this thread is for the licensing of Bleach, if you want to discuss "forum love" (or lack of it) a new thread, private messaging or MSN conversation would serve you much better.

    Viz license Bleach

Viz usually come up with uncut dual language releases of their series somewhere along the line, when it comes to Full Moon or any other series no one's forcing to watch the English dub if you don't want to. Tbh I've never understood the whole "OMG OH NOES Viz will wreck it ALL!11" attitude...

The Anime/Manga I Bought Today Was...

My manga order of Fushigi Yugi 6-8 and Kenshin 1-2 arrived today; unfortunately it seems plush Mikoto is being held in Charlton Parcelforce depot of all places, trying to make arrangements to actually get it to my house.

March 2006 UK anime DVD releases

Looks like Yu Yu Hakusho has indeed been delayed, MVM's releases up to late June don't list it anywhere...given the length of the series I wish they'd hurry up with it as I can't afford the R1 boxsets atm. I already have most of the things I'd want from that list, although I'll be looking...

ADV UK April 2006 DVD releases

It's the same for every month in 2006 (well, February was a bit of an exception because there was the Boogiepop collection+live action movie), if you remember a while back they said they intended to scale back their releases to 4 a month to avoid oversaturating the market.

ADV UK April 2006 DVD releases

Since I can't pass up anything BGC related I've been meaning to look into Parasite Dolls for a while, and now I might finally get around to doing so, even if it is only through rental. Will no doubt take a look at DNAngel vol 5 as well, although first I need to catch up on volume 4.

Hanbu No Tsuki Ga Noboru Sora

Taken on its own, the final episode wasn't my favourite, but I did like the way the series ended- I'm impressed that it combined both the happy and the bittersweet so I didn't feel disappointed on either count.

    Disgaea anime licensed?

Given that RPG-base anime series aren't usually up to much, I started out as sceptical about this, but actually the trailer was pretty good- I doubt it will be a 'top' series but as long as it doesn't do try to take itself too seriously it should be quite entertaining.

The Anime/Manga I Bought Today Was...

Although I'm still waiting for my plush Mikoto I did get some manga today- Death Note #3, Hunter X Hunter #6. XXXHolic #3, Tsubasa #8 and Fruits Basket #12. Also ordered some more manga- Kenshin 1-2 and Fushigi Yugi 6-8.

Hanbu No Tsuki Ga Noboru Sora

I randomly decided to give this try a couple of weeks ago after seeing it mentioned in a couple of places, and was pleasantly surprised to discover how enjoyable it was- in fact now that I've become absorbed in the world and characters, it's hard to believe there's only one episode left to go...

Just three anime DVDs were released in the UK today, including the latest instalments of Wolf's Rain and Full Metal Alchemist, both currently airing on Rapture TV. According to Play.com, however, the fifth volume of Chobits may have actually been delayed until June. All of this week's...

    6th February UK anime releases

Beez has already confirmed Destiny as one of their 2006 titles (should be in an earlier news article on the site somewhere)- now admittedly this could mean anything up to around December 27th, but they do seem to be making a bit of an effort to release things more promptly in comparison to the...

February 2006 UK anime DVD releases

Play.com and Manga's own "Mangazette" newsletter give the date as the 27th. Yes, pretty sure :P. If anyone's interested, it looks like Chobits #5 has been moved forward to February too. Personally, I'm looking forward to live action Boogiepop and Others movie and Paranoia Agent #3...

    30th January UK anime releases

Actually, it looks like you're right, Amazon now list it as coming out on March 20th (I'll make the necessary amendments in a moment). Iirc, even the US release only made it up to volume 2, so it doesn't have a very good track record of making it to DVD!
