Typically they'll deliver the package and then you'll receive an invoice in the mail for the VAT and their charges like a week or two later, more recently they also seem to email you the invoice in advance if they can, they still deliver before requiring payment even in this case though.
So they just shouldn't have put them up for sale at all?
You and quite a few others are annoyed, but there's likely a (very) small group of people who were thrilled to actually get the items.
What they probably should have done is stated on twitter (or here) that they had an extremely limited...
I bought it from them for £25 over the summer, however, they squeezed it in to one of those thin cardboard mailers they use that are only just big enough for an amaray, fair bit of damage to the corners and edges all round, mostly from been forced into the envelope rather than damaged in the...
Funimation in the US typically re-release their standard edition blu-rays as cheaper releases, either as a "s.a.v.e." or "essentials" release, the essentials ones have the same artwork as the standard release but with a banner on the front along the top, "s.a.v.e." releases seem to use older...
There's also another good incentive to move away from DVDs specific to europe, PAL conversion/speedup, once I got a blu-ray player I avoided DVDs like the plague because of that, unless it was something I absolutely loved and was DVD only.
I know some MVM DVDs are probably ntsc, but I have no...
I get that, I'm not asking to get a £20 item free with a £10 one, but if you're buying two £20 and two £10 items I don't think it's unreasonable to expect one of each to be free, rather than the two cheapest ones.
Whatever, it's likely going to cost AL money in postage costs because most will...
BOGOF offer is kinda dumb, in terms of how it's programed or scripted or whatever, add two £20 releases and get one of them free, but add two £10 releases to that and it's those two that are free, always makes the cheapest you add to cart free, costing you £40 rather the £30 it'd be in total if...
Oh, a little heads up for those in the EU ordering from Anime Limited, if a package weighs more than 2kg, they'll be shipped via fedex rather than royal mail, I asked them about it after last year.
Mostly relevant here in Ireland where standard shipping is free and our national carrier customs...
Is your copy of Michiko and Hachin either the essentials or s.a.v.e. set?
They're the only 2 that seem widely available, if the essentials one is region B compatible I'm deff picking it up...
For CCS, what would the inevitable standard edition even look like?
The same as the CE just without the (rather small) booklet, or without the box too so just two loose amaray as part of the one release?
I know they only ever have early bird offers for limited edition CE's, but I half suspect...
About the predictions;
I may be misremembering, but I think the early bird redux offers in the past were only for stuff that had an early bird offer before but had not yet released?
That would rule out Violet Evergarden, if so...
As no one else has really commented on it, I'm I the only one...
I have (and love) the Elfen Lied steelbook blu-ray release, but this is one of those very few shows I wouldn't hesitate to double dip on, especially if it was a digipak release with a decent artbook.
Hell, if that german release does indeed have english subs I'm gonna have to consider importing...
Pretty sure they were the 5 CE's in last year's bundle, Kokkoku and Ballroom part 1 were in it for sure, so they almost certainly won't be in it/them this year.
Like it really matters, I think we all know, seeing as it mirrors a US release, that only like 5 copies of the Artbook release will make it's way over to us filthy european peasants, with pretty much every pre-order for them cancelled, but not until after the release date...
Okay, I read through this conversation, then made the mistake of reading up on the series on wikipedia, and seriously, it's not confusing at all...
"Fate/Deen Night" refers to the 2006 "Fate/stay night" series by Studio Deen, correct?
I think I'll try the first couple episodes of that series...
For anyone else who dislikes watching videos for this kind of stuff, here's a list of what they announced, with basic details;
Blood-C Ultimate - series + film, 144 page a4 artbook, limited to 500 units
El-Hazard: The Magnificent World - OVAs 1+2, 52 page artbook
Kakegurui - season 1, 36 page...
Ah, okay, thank you.
The reasonable price of the collector's blu-ray along with the knowledge that the previous two releases sold out so quickly has got me tempted on this one, I don't think I've ever seen any other MVM titles go OOP anywhere near as fast.
Are the Heaven's Feel movies accessible to those who've never watched any Fate/* stuff before?
It's one of those series that feels a little intimidating to get into, considering how many releases there are and how convoluted it seems to be overall.
