I'd love that too, but I thought netflix was the reason a blu-ray release was unlikely, at least that's what I'd read before. AFAIK it doesn't even have a US release either, and it was a pretty popular show...

Far from the only one, I would love to see a blu-ray of it too, I would happily pay what AL charged for Cardcapter Sakura for a complete set of the 2 Darker Than Black series along the (excellent) OVA series, even if it was an amaray release. :P

Oh, nice! I certainly would be quiet amenable to pre-ordering a Usagi/Bunny Drop CE, hint hint...

I've picked up a few Sentai CE's in sales on right stuf, and honestly, they make them appear really nice in the promo images (something MVM could deff learn from...), but the actual extra items are really rather gimmicky once you open them. Don't get me wrong, you'll have to prise my Kamisama...

Amanchu remains one of my absolute favourite AL releases, and I would pre-order both of those other two shows in a heartbeat, and re-sub to anime unlimited in the process. Really hope someone picks up those two at some stage, A Place Further Than the Universe in particular, although Yuru Camp...

It should be set to auto renew, using stripe, in fact there isn't any option to not have it auto renew, or even send out a reminder a few days or a week before it renews, unfortunately... I've cancelled mine for now, haven't ordered anything since In/Spectre I think, may very well re-sub later...

Typically their non-EB pre-orders are 30 rather than 40% off, so that'd be £63, or £52.50 if outside the UK, I think?

So, um, I have no idea if this has been mentioned here before, but I had noticed that AL's Summer Days With Coo CE which I got in an xmas mystery box, the amaray case isn't the standard kind, it's the same dimensions but it doesn't have the wide blue "band" with the blu-ray logo above the art...

Got an email telling me that In/Spectre, which was due for release in 3 days time, is being put back until June 13th; Being so close to release, seems very likely that the discs were already pressed and packaged, but they found some issue and they're re-doing them entirely? I'm perfectly okay...

Same here, despite having 4 of them on blu-ray for ages... Think I might actually give Summer Wars a shot soon(ish) though, given some of the praise it's gotten in this thread.

I'm with WMD, I really liked Future Diary too, and I've regretted listening to negative opinions of other shows on here before that I absolutely loved once I actually tried them for myself. I can't see Future Diary selling out particularly soon, but I would strongly recommend checking up other...

IIRC the early birds for a few of their vinyl releases have launched on a thursday rather than a friday before, so I'm guessing that's what this surprise is going to be (unfortunately :P ).

Given the Funimation-Manga-Crunchyroll situation, I think anything licensed by Sentai in the US is much more likely to be released here by either MVM or AL now than they would have been a year or two ago, although for Shirobako, 24 episodes that have probably never been BBFC'd is a deterent, I...

I thought they did that before, where I only heard about the replacement scheme because of people talking about it here, think that may have been with either Re:Zero or Your Name.

Link posting etiquette discussion (from UK Anime Blu-ray & DVD Bargains)

While I don't think it's a big issue, I'm actually with Googlyhead on this, I much prefer direct links myself, I use noscript and while I have to allow 2 twitter domains to get twitter posts to load at all, I don't allow their t.co url shortening domain, if I do need to follow such a link I'll...

Had to look it up, swiss frank is about 1:1 with the euro, so that's pretty bad, fedex fee went up to €18.45 here last year, it was €14.89 on this package though. Another thing about fedex invoices, they do actually charge VAT on their fee but it's not that apparent, it was listed separately on...

Huh, I didn't actually think to mention it, but Dororo is the first thing I've received from the UK since July that actually slipped through without incurring VAT, my copy didn't actually ship from MVM until 6th of Jan though. I received Dororo late last week, blind buy for me but started watching over the weekend already and quite liking it, glade I pre-ordered. Any, just posting to say that it has a reversible cover without the age rating on it, just like Aria did. Although I would prefer alternative reversible...

Huh, Yamato 2199 is a show that just never appealed to me from the little I've heard of it, but the BSG remake is one I've my favourite series ever too (although it is beaten by at least Firefly to the top spot). Gonna have to give Yamato a try after reading this, I'm totally blaming you if I...
