Checking Amazon reviews for Amagi and DanMachi, few folks saying the same thing, no collectors edition stuff to be found. And evidently UP1 have this buried at the bottom of their description on both:

You don’t need a business.
It specifies here “individual”, so not requiring a trading business to apply.
So not having a business you need to give them you NI number.
RightStuf themselves answered the question with a mass email tonight.
They’ll still be working with FedEx but collecting VAT when the order is placed with a small fee added on for the calculation/estimate.
