I have poped over to Virgin megastores in Birmingham and most DVD's are now priced between £12.99-£14.99. Not sure if it's the same for every Virgin megastores, but its worth a try to check it out. Also HMV has a few DVD's for £10, but not many though.
I prefer DVD because it doesn't take up as much space as VHS'. My shelf is already full and I have no space left for any new stuff & I can't imagine how much space it will take if my DVD's are actually VHS'
Another thing about VHS' is that it can be annoying to keep on rewinding.
I got a new avatar which shows ANZA.
ANZA is a J-music solo artist and in the past she has been in the Sailor Moon musicals playing as the main character Usagi, plus she sung songs for Anime's too ^^ ANZA is also half Japanese and African.
That looks totally cool though I already got volume 1-5, so i won't be getting the platinum boxset.
And hey, look at MVM's site ~ http://www.anime-on-line.com/xcart/prod ... 110&page=1
It shows a taste of how the boxset will look like. It looks as though the box is nice and shiny, however...
Here are my AmeCon pics, minus the masquerade ones because they were somewhat bad quality.

Nostaglia & Comics in Birmingham, thats where I got my DVD's and where I usually buy my Manga/Anime stuff because Forbidden Planet can be way over pricced.
1.3 million were sold in the US where as 1 million in Japan? Oh well, I did expect more sales in Japan, however it's probably because the population of the US is much larger then Japan when you compare the sizes of the 2 countries. OMG! I expected more sales in Europe.... what happened to all...
I brought Chobits vol.3, 4 & 5 today. I saw the whole Chobits series on a sale for £11.99 each at my manga shop, plus I get a 10% student discount meaning that it costs £10.79 per DVD ^_^, too bad vol.6 wasn't there >.<"
I've only seen the 1st episode of RaXephon after seeing it on sale in Virgin ages ago. I must say I never really gotten into it and felt bored after the first episode, but I can't say much because I might change my mind after seeing the rest of the episodes. As for Evangelion, I've watched...
