Finally gave up hope of a release of Amanchu! Advance (season 2) anywhere in the Western world and ordered a copy from eBay. It's better than nothing. I expect an announcement in coming weeks that All The Anime or MVM has licensed a UK version.

Orphen episodes 10-20: I swear at the end of episode 19, the VA said the next episode was the final one. Liars! I think this would be 1,000% better without all the serious plot getting in the way of the gang of idiots (and their cute wolf cub) wandering round the world and causing mayhem.

Orphen episodes 1-10: They certainly took their time with storylines back in the dark ages (2002), didn't they? It's been taking two or three episodes to tell a story that in a more recent anime would take up about ten minutes. So much moody music and slow lingering shots across the landscape...

Tada Never Falls In Love episodes 10-13: avoided finishing this for a few days, as I expected the "open for a second series happyish ending". Lots of soppy emotional stuff for those into that. Onto a more realistic anime with Orphen. :)

And I just got these from MusicMagpie. The Fairy Tale Theatre was for Shelley Duvall, as I was reading about her after her death last week and it piqued my interest. Please Twins was a surprise extra, which I haven't seen for 20 years. £31 for the lot.

And my Sentai order has arrived (ordered on the 4th, waited a week at Stackry for a pallet to be filled). Not bad for around £70.

This was the first episode I ever watched and it impressed me greatly. Almost makes me want to go back and watch it all again (still waiting for the remastered version, even though I know it'll never come).

THIS is what I received today (well, went and picked up). Not the book (or little picture). I just wish I had some room for all my new Betty's. That heart-shaped picture frame alone weighed over 2kg.

Cutie Honey Universe: Rather bleak story, and another couple of sex pests in the house. One of whom looked (and acted) alarmingly like Happosai from Ranma 1/2. Good visuals, but the emotional load laid on poor Honey was a bit intense. Time for something relaxing, I think.
