I've never liked some anime such as Dragon Your Balls, most shonen stuff, giant mecha, yaoi, and some other catagories-Academia falls into one of those catagories.
No Time To Die-just saw this tonight and it totally blew away me from the beginning to the end. As Daniel Craig's last Bond outing it was damn good. Being as I can't see how they'd make more Bond movies unless they started with a clean slate and ignore what happened. It'll be interesting to see...
The Great Jahy Will Not Be Defeated!-Got my weekly dose of Jahy today, this has gotta be the funniest show of the season. Every time I watch it it puts a smile on my face.
Aria-The Crepuscolo-I kinda missed out on this because I didn't know it had already been released! Anyway, this is the final Aria feature we'll ever see and it was excellent and it was truly a fitting capstone for the series.
I made a simple dish tonight (I hate cooking!)-steamed cauliflower mixed with a can of Campbell's Split Pea & Ham soup with some seasonings. It's much better than it sounds.
Dune 2021-much better than the 1980's version which shoehorned the entire first novel into one film. Splitting it into 2 parts was a very wise decision, it allows time for both the characters and story to breathe and develop.
Not anime but I've been listening to Hans Zimmer's ost from the new remake of Dune. Gotta say most of what he composes is excellent, seems he's the new John Williams.
I have this on bluray and nothing says Halloween like Blood-The Last Vampire. It literally reaches out and grabs you by the throat and takes you along for a wild 45 minute thrill ride. My only complaint about it is that it was too short.
I don't read manga but I've watched a fair amount of yuri shows and one of my favorites is Sakameki Koto. It has a lot of serious moments but it has some really funny ones, too. The episode that takes place in the water park is hilarious (hint-tower of doom). Kuma Arashi was pretty good as was...
I have to agree with all the reviews that the new Dune movie is much better than the old one although Sting (aka Gorden Sumner) was pretty good in his role as Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen.
Was going to see the My Hero Academia movie today but the new Dune movie was showing so I saw that instead. Sci fi movies always win over anime movies in my book.
