Ok-I just saw Belle a few hours ago. First I've gotta say that I have mixed feelings about Mamoru Hosoda's films, I don't hate them but don't particularly like them either. I like Makoto Shinkai's films a lot more. I think that Hosoda recycles too many themes and ideas in his films-I'd rate...
FMA is a series that I detest (my list of anime that I like is way longer than the list that I hate). I watched a few episodes and there was something that I didn't like about it and that was that-never again. I do like Saber Marionette J and J to X even more.
Yep, I know for a fact that ADV had the Slayers movies and ovas because I have them-and the thinpack of the movies is worth a crapload of money. And I'm not talking about uk releases-just us ones. For a little fun fact-Central Park Media/Software Sculptors was the original us licensee of the 3...
I try my damn est not to read reviews about new series before I watch an episode or two. As far as older series I can't believe many years ago that I thought Sailor Moon was so good-all the endless recycled transformation sequences, monster of the week format, one dimensional characters, etc...
Did you ever see the japanese bluray release of Last Exile? It looked like crap, the dvds actually looked better. I guess just because something comes out on bluray doesn't make it better than the dvd release.
Girls Und Panzer-Das Final 3-more of the same, and that's a very good thing because the series is so much fun to watch. I mean girls and tanks-where else but in anime could such a combination exist?
It seems almost all of the Oh My Goddess forums are gone now, mostly because of lack of interest I would imagine. What a shame.........!! As for twitter, facebook et al-no thanks.
Project A-Ko-although I've seen this 5 or 6 times I watched the new version made from the 35mm film copy and it was like viewing it after a thick haze had been removed, it made all the previous dvd releases look like utter crap (which they were).
I think that because it was Daniel Craig's last turn as James Bond the makers of the movie decided they were going to cram as much action and as many plots in as they possibly could to give viewers something they wouldn't forget and would feel that they got their moneys worth.
Oh I understood you perfectly well, if we're talking about imaginary characters taking place in an imaginary world then why can't each version of them exist in their own parallel world? It isn't **** so just enjoy the movies which is why they were made in the first place and have fun.
