Hellsing PQ is fine.
If you're referring to vick review, he mostly points out the fact that some of the old episodes looks meh (since they're upscales). His opinion is otherwise quite harsh because he was pissed of the multiple delays. There's no real apparent flaws or criticism beside.
I've...
Maybe the french release of Shinsekai Yori will outsells the Japanese single volumes? lmao.
Also it'll likely be the first non bare Amaray release outside of Japan? Maybe?

It's mocking people magazines, the design is quite excellent imo.
Paying on dispatch also imply the store is keeping your credit cards details in the meantime, which I find extremly bothersome.
People need to realize shops are asking for payment upon ordering not because they want the money asap but simply due to it being infinitely more secure.
Depends.
Usually the distributor (what you call the sub-licensor). It's not really regarded by the right owner (what you call the studio but most studio don't sell their animes) unlike an eventual dub.
Since the local Evangelion release is hard to find people think it's worth hundreads even for a newer release. Nobody would have said this for a similarly popular anime like Cowboy Bebop since it has been readily available for years. Yet the licensing cost wouldn't be that much different (Cowboy...
I think all of you should stop theorizing about Evangelion.
It was made clear that:
a) The physical rights were blocked until the last movie's release.
b) If khara had a real grudge against FUNimation they wouldn't renew their licensing deal.
c) Netflix, trying to be on the hype, paid an...
Having 3-4 episodes per disc is dumb, It seems good at first but if you check carefully most of the time it's using a BD25. Just great. You can cram up to 9 episodes on a BD50 and have it look as good as the original japanese release. IDP, a french distributor, has done this for years and their...
You guys need to understand that some pros are working for a certain distributors and can't work for others (except in special cases & conditions which are unecessary to mention).
Back to subject. People don't want any of your instagram filters atop of their anime. They want the damn thing as...
It's idiotic to think that you're saving money by removing the dvd. Having two boxsets produced in lower quantities increase the cost on the publishers ends and as you'd guess it is reflected in the price anyway. It's literally equal at this point.
In France, distributors usually keep some limited copies aside for those unlucky buyers that have their items damaged or lost. Pretty sure MVM and Manga do the same? But AL is so great :^)))
So yes, that's ****** management from AL, just selling & no proper customer care. Kind of like Warner...
Devilman 1987-1990 OVA collection (30th Anniversary Combo) - Dybex. SRP 34.99€
Contains both The Birth and The Demon Bird on both DVD & Blu-Ray.
It -should- have a rigid box as it's listed as a Prestige boxset.
I'll make a terrible comparison but if you look at the french manga market, ecchi doesn't seem huge in France (for once they're good at something). It does sell to some extents but like… DxD was an okay seller for Panini Manga, nothing more.
