What’s the book like in the big set?
Not really knowing much about the Fate stuff; I simply bought the UK version as a blind buy for around £25 (which seemed reasonable for four ’movies’).
The result is that although I‘ve enjoyed the actual anime; I couldn’t say the set itself is particularly...
The ‘regular’ AnimeUnlimited 10% should continue to work; just lacking the extra 5% of the 15% code.
So that’s still £12 off destiny alone.
I know subscription discount memberships are bad, but if you’re looking at adding an EB to an international £100+ order; you’re probably close to break-even...
It’s been offered for £50 from AOL (MVM) with some others price matching, so I’d be optimistic about it appearing again in their next sale if you can wait that long!
I‘m quite used to the 12-14 ep series lengths. I wasn’t intending to come off as complaining, but I guess we‘ve just been a little spoilt of late with sales having standard editions at sub- £10 prices (from various places).
And probably demonstrating my lack of anime industry knowledge would be...
No idea what this is, and the description makes it sound like some kind of Code Geass with flying sailships and cutlasses.
At only 12 (25min) episodes for £12; it doesn’t seem a impressive bargain, but I’ve added to my pile because there’s a CE and they’ve sold me on the included books (£6 more...
I loved this so much, that just seeing this posted has prompted me to watch it again!
However; I’m a CE/LE/SE junkie and have the CE from when that was on offer (a ‘booklet’ at almost 300 pages!) - and just because they didn’t include a dvd version in the CE; I got that from their earlier DVD...
I like this, but as I already have the DVD box version; i don’t see the updated release as having much to offer.
If there was more than just a couple of art cards; that would have made it essential. But as it is; I’m not even convinced a blu-ray version would offer improvements sufficient to...
I get that they’re focussed on flogging the plastic discs to collectors, but not only do they also sell cds, but not only do they feature in collectors editions / ultimate editions, but they tend to also be a big part of the Japanese releases in the first place.
You mean like their SRP numbers? ;)
And unless I’m at the tail end of a long slow email list; I’m going to ask why the extra couple of days late this was for the launch of the sale wasn’t enough time for proof-reading then.
Did I miss something? I got the same email today, but only previously saw the £25 Future Diary CE.
A search of the website shows the standard edition to be £30
Mine were despatched first thing today, so similar to xmas, and I can probably expect them tomorrow or Thursday…
I’ll probably find that I have every single title though.
Be warned that the ‘all offers’ banner link includes the bogof titles, and they’re not immediately marked as such.
It’s probably generally better to go to the individual sections. Seemed to go live at 4:50, and I had my essentials ordered by 4:55, but I’ve since ordered the mystery boxes and...
I was wondering if that was the only one; it doesn’t quite fit the definition, being event related rather than subscription related. I’d picked one up earlier anyway, so simply ended up with an extra.
Other items promised in the anime-unlimited advert and description haven’t really materialised...
Keep in mind that some (specifically; the live-action titles) have been at the £2 price point for yonks.
I wonder if this means they’re depreciating the DVD format and going Blu-ray only, or moving to having both types in a single release (instead of two versions of each)?
Thanks for that clarification, as I likewise haven’t been keeping up, and thought this was referring to the silver steelbooks (which are definitely older, and were cheaper…)
I’m assuming I’ve got them all, as I haven’t seen any recent additions to that line (since Only Yesterday).
They told me (via email) a while back that they’re manufacturing replacements which will be sent out to affected customers once available.
So they are aware, and they are doing something, but you need to have the affected pressing and contact them.
