A-Channel - The Complete Collection is technically Region Locked; but here is a rundown of what I've tried.
It does not work on Region B players (default settings) and it does not work on the Xbox One (default settings).
It does work on PS3 and PS4 consoles (default settings).
None of my...
Their latest newswire has just been posted and sadly no updates on DRR (or Patema Inverted) discs at this time.
"~ And just to include a mention of them in here, there are no new updates on either Durarara!! or Patema Inverted at this time."
Re: [UK Anime Distributor] MVM Entertainment Discussion Thre
That's because MangaUK opted to use the disc masters created by FUNimation. The American, Australian and UK releases are 'exactly' the same; its just the artwork (disc and packaging) that have been altered (slightly) for each region...
Re: [UK Anime Distributor] MVM Entertainment Discussion Thre
Technically they are already doing this (well to an extent at least); as 90% of trailers included in their recent releases are promoting products that have either been released or are about to be released in the coming weeks.
Only...
I've listed majority of my stuff on eBay; but I thought I would extend 'some' of them to you guys on here.
All prices include postage (1st Class Recorded/Courier) - I only ship to the UK - and payment is via paypal (the gift/family options); to avoid fees.

One Piece: Unlimited Cruise 2...
in-case no-one read the (long-winded) review on AnimeBlurayUK then Anime Limited's Blu-ray release of Blood Lad has a minor issue; disc chapters.
Basically from episode 6 onwards the 'traditional' chapter points disappear and are instead replaced with a chapter marker every 5 minutes or so...
I was in a similar situation (until last year when Fibre came available).
Companies who are thinking 'digital only' also need to consider that not everyone will have an unlimited usage; a variety of service providers still offer 'restrictive' limits on broadband; BT keep trying to sign-me-up to...
I couldn't remember which country it was from (so I just listed everything that sprang to mind - haha); I plan on importing Season 1 but I was just waiting for Christmas rush to be over ;)
Battle Girls: Time Paradox has been delayed until 16th February 2015; presumably so that new discs can be created due to the BBFC requesting the series to be cut by 8 seconds on disc 1.
If this is the case (as MVM Entertainment have yet to confirm it) then the sample/review/check discs sent out...
MangaUK never mentioned that Samurai Bride would be going DVD only; however the Blu-ray listing for it disappeared at the same time they confirmed that Ben-to and Good Luck girl were going DVD only.

In other news future "Part" instalments of Fairy Tail will be DVD only; MangaUK (or a...
You forgot to mention that Tiger & Bunny: The Beginning is down to £14.99 (a set which is now OOP) ->
and Outlaw Star - The Complete Series is down to £15.99
All four titles are part of Zavvi's Mega Monday promotion; in other words these deals will probably end on Monday night.
No need to pay for additional software on PC; BDRegionTray is completely free and allows you to manually change the region of your drive.
Simply download, open the .exe file and choose the region you want to use (by clicking the icon on your icon tray (next to clock)) - pretty cool tool and...
I think Amazon's poor wording choice have resulted in this mass-outcry; and I believe MangaUK won't be cancelling the UK release of Eva 3.33 - all they have done is just cancelled the option to pre-order, as you can't really have a pre-order listing without a definitive release date. Once a date...
The Collection sets of Fairy Tail (i.e. bundling two parts into a single set) are still being released on DVD; it's only the Blu-ray version that is being cancelled.
If you want Fairy Tail on Blu-ray then (going forward) you'll only be able to buy it in "Part" instalments
The Blu-ray Collection sets of Fairy Tail were cancelled at the start of December (source) hence why they don't appear on online listings. It's bizarre why Manga would do this as its the same discs re-packaged.
It was at the same time that Ben-To and Good Luck Girl! were made DVD only...
It's hit and miss; i found DVD Region locks are easier to bypass (as most DVD Players can be made multi-regional via an unlock code) where as Blu-ray players need either a modifcation fitted or a selective firmware installed (on selective models only) in order to play the disc.
Some discs (such...
