Never experienced that one before (care to elaborate?)
i Agree when things go bad Zavvi's Customer Service can be timely (i.e. spend a day waiting for a reply); but on the whole its been good service from them.
Some answers to your questions.
• D.Gray-Man Season 1 Part Two Blu-ray (UPC: 704400069239) was this ever released ?
- I don't think it was; just like Dragon Ball Z Level 2.1 and 2.2 the item was listed but never released
• Eureka Seven not sure if there was a separate DVD Limited Editon ?
- the...
Yep they are (got mine replaced a few weeks back when it was reduced to £25); although I believe they will be stopping the replacement program shortly.
I've been re-watching Chrono Crusade and noticed that on Volume 2 (or the second disc if you have the complete collection) the 5.1 English Audio has been mixed/muxed incorrectly...as a result dialogue comes out of the left rear speaker as well as the centre speaker (it should only come out of...
Perfectly understandable that the second disc would be rated at 15 given three of the episodes included on the disc; but even then it may be a little 'overboard' since a 12 rating may have been fine.
Kill La Kill Part 3 would be too big to fit in an envelope (as it includes the artbox to house all three volumes); it would most definitely be sent in a large box.
Heck an Amiibo I ordered from Amazon US was sent in a large box with loads of air-pockets around it.
I assume (due to out-of-date Blu-ray software) I can't play Animatsu Discs on my PC - and even if I could I can't do screencaps anyway; so in order to take screenshots I had to use the screenshot function on my Roxio Capture card; which of course gives off standard definition pictures.
Anyway...
Ironically Amazon.com (and a few other US Retailers) are selling Morbito - Part 2 Blu-ray for $7.99 and the US Region 1 DVD (complete series) for $12.30
I mentioned it in my review on AnimeBlurayUK but the Nadia Blu-ray release has some 'potentially' minor issues regarding the picture quality during certain scenes.
Can only assume Sentai Filmworks (as they initially created the Blu-ray release) spliced in footage from an older DVD/VHS release...
That's why Gundam Seed Destiny Final Plus OVA was released; it's basically the final three episodes merged together into a 50 minute OVA.. It never got a UK release but it is available in Australia and America.
As someone mentioned the BEEZ OOP Complete DVD sets are probably the best way to go...
As far as I am aware they haven't.... and the episodes show on KIX TV only go up to the end of the Cell Saga (not to mention they are edited).
I believe KIX TV can also be received on Freesat.
True; but the Blu-ray would feature the English Dub and be in HD (the original UK DVD was English Sub only) - which would possibly entice people to pay for it. MVM could also do a MangaUK and opt to release it on Blu-ray only - that would potentially drive sales up as well.
Yea it quietly got added back on Fetch.fm's website then a day later it was confirmed that a Blu-ray release of the series is coming; probably explains why the show got delayed again as well - i.e. holding out on releasing BD and DVD at same time.
In regards to the Madoka image they are...
Zavvi has recently been quite good; both on getting items out and in the right packaging... for instance regular Blu-ray cases have been sent in Jiffy envelopes (if not carded envelopes) and when I ordered Attack on Titan - Part 1 it came in a box with those large air pocket packets inside so...
Berserk has definitely been part of DoTW as I remember picking it up when it was on offer.... I believe Agent347 at one point was keeping a spreadsheet or list of titles that were being put up on a weekly basis.
I don't remember any problems; but if I recall MangaUK used the same disc master as that of the US Release.
I originally had the US import, but then sold it and rented the UK release - amusingly enough my player picked-up right where I left off haha
There are quite a lot of 'older' anime titles that were Region 2 compatible.
For instance (from memory):
All Individually released Dragon Ball Z Movies
All individually released Dragon Ball Movies
All individually released Dragon Ball Z DVDs (about 3 episodes per disc)
All 9 Seasons of Dragon...
1) Chapter markings were off; so if you wanted to skip the opening (which is actually good) you'd find yourself 4 minutes into the episode
2) one of the extras in one of the volumes (Japanese with English subs) had an audio issue and it went out of sync; thus making it unwatchable.
