This is not a fault; it's just the way some BD's are.
I always take my discs out of the player and put them back in their original box, so sitting through the opening logos isn't usually a problem; besides most BD sets (with the exception of KAZE) can be skipped straight to the title menu.
Just to point out BASE have started to 'increase' the sale prices; for instance Naruto Shippuden - Set 3 has gone up to £11.99 (I'm sure earlier it was £10.49 or so)
Might be another 'Manga themed MCM Promotion' whereby a variety of titles will be reduced for the MCM Comic Con weekend (if i recall they did something similar earlier in the year/last year).
Anyway also noticed that Hellsing Volumes 5-8 is down to £8.59 (DVD only)
I've had those sets (orange bricks for DBZ and green bricks for DBGT) for years and are all perfectly fine - same applies to beez Ultimate Edition release of Gundam Wing but I can see why'd you'd be concerned (especially after something like this release).
Well the Digimon Season Sets had rather 'questionable' visual quality (pixilation and such) when released in US by Flatiron Film Company / Cinedigm, so maybe the episodes have been spread out across an additional disc to make them better quality?
Either that or its just a template place-holder xD
Re: The Q & A Thread (for questions that do not need a threa
When they first announced the One Piece Movie Collection they did say Movie 8 would be available on it's own as a Blu-ray (or at least consider it) but since then nothing has been mentioned; can only assume they have decided to...
Re: The Q & A Thread (for questions that do not need a threa
I know MVM Entertainment are trying to get hold of Shana S3 license, so I guess it will come to the UK at some point.
MangaUK haven't mentioned anything about Hetalia for awhile; however considering Season 5 only came out in America...
Re: Manga Entertainment Discussion Thread.
Seems like Attack on Titan - Part 2 (both DVD and Blu-ray) will have all of the bonus content included on the second disc; i.e. they aren't going to "strip it off" like they did with Part 1.
Yea; when Sword Art Online - Volume 1 released in Australia it was available as Standard Blu-ray or Limited Edition Bundle with chipboard artbox... the Limited Edition bundle even came with some pretty 'unique' artcards (got an unboxing here).
I already had the UK release of SAO Volume 1; but...
Thanks;
The Gundam 00 boxes contain the individual volumes and since Season 2 didn't come with a box to contain them all (as for whatever reason BEEZ did not release one) I bought the Limited Edition version of season 1 Volume 1 again (hence why there is two Gundam 00 Boxes on top of the...
What's funny is that my collection fills up two DVD/BD designed storage cabinets and two shelf units; yet in pictures (up-close) the collection looks small xD
Been meaning to do this for a while; but seeing as my collection changes on a weekly basis it's never "up-to-date" - for instance this week Girls Und Panzer (Blu-ray), Nabari - Complete (DVD) and Rideback - Complete (DVD) arrived and I'm still waiting for some Yu-Gi-Oh! DVD's to arrive through...
