I read this week's 'Otherside Picnic' part on J-Novel and I'm kind of overcome with emotion right now. Something very important was about to happen and now I have to wait one more week to see the final part. A cliffhanger has never made me so anxious before this is torture.
I already owned the (now out of print) novel set, and I am afraid now that I also own the anime my collectors brain will compel me to get the OOP manga set too just for completion's sake. The manga was cancelled too so I think there's only two volumes.
I think you'll enjoy your time with it it has some of the most heartfelt moments I have ever seen in a manga. Unfortunately it was very abruptly cancelled last month and given one chapter to finish. As someone who is following it, it can't end well in one chapter from where it is. It needed I'd...
Here'a a new batch of stuff from Seven Seas. Apologies for not using Twitter links but other licenses which may not be relevant to the thread keep showing up in the previews as well, and it looks profoundly messy to me, so images it is.
Disclaimer: I feel like I should provide some context...
Yeah, with the handful of stuff where it's licensed but tied to a digital only subscription service, I am engaging in full on hopium and just praying someone licenses for physical copies someday. It has happened before a couple times so it isn't completely without precedent.
Claire is currently on high alert for new license announcements coming sometime today. She has even assembled a handy chart full of hopes and dreams. You can tell her that expecting some of these series in 2023 (current year argument) is pure delusion, but she will just look at your face with a...
Kodansha USA licenses 'I Can't Say No to the Lonely Girl'.
This one is so damn good! It was only a matter of time before someone licensed it and I am super happy to see it.
Having seen the release schedule for 'Vampeerz', I'm inclined to agree. It's finished serialisation in Japan (9 vols) yet at the rate Denpa are going, we won't see a full English set until like 2026.
Reread of 'Citrus' vol 1-10, and 'Citrus+' vol 1-5 - I actually rate this even higher than on my first read now. Yuzu and Mei's relationship is absolutely adorable, Yuzu is like a ray of sunshine that lights up Mei's life and slowly causes her to open up and start valuing herself. The original...

To be entirely fair, James Cameron did the first ever solo trip to the challenger deep in 2012 (the deepest part of the ocean at the bottom of the Mariana Trench) along with the numerous other test missions it took to get his craft to that depth in the first place. So he is actually something of...
It was supposedly using old scaffholding as balast and its control system was a wireless logitech PC game controller from 2011. It was so shoddy that the craft literally could have met its end due to stick drift (who tf entrusts control of a submersible to a £60 lump of plastic?).
'Death's Daughter and the Ebony Blade' vol 1-2 (light novel) - I've not got much to say about this series other than the fact that I love my sweet brainless murder child.
The Waterstones in Birmingham must be one of the ones that's tried harder in that area then, I go in there every time I'm in the city because their manga section is absolutely enormous. It rivals the amount of shelf space the nearby Worlds Apart has for manga, and that's a comics store which...
God how I wish I had a Travelling Man nearby. If I could do in-store preorders from them it would solve a lot of my problems. I like the web store and find their service really good when I can use it but unfortunately for the manga I buy it is poorly stocked. I have a Worlds Apart near me which...
