Bit of an odd question, but I don't suppose anyone knows which cover art of Serial Experiments Lain is the unstretched image, the standard Bluray or collector's edition? It's been on my mind for a while, and I'd rather get the release with the least altered art.
Just got back from watching Lu Over the Wall and I'm so impressed, I knew I'd like it but I enjoyed it wayyy more than I thought I would, it felt like a mix of A Letter to Momo and Ponyo. Absolutely loved it and can't wait to own it on bluray.
Oh wow I really like this set, only just bought the collectors edition of Movie #1 (didn't even get a chance to open it) and was planning on asking for the others for Christmas. Hmmmm, decisions decisions.
I've been constantly checking every day for news of the UK release date for months now, this is my most anticipated film for years, the subject, colour palette and background art is just too much for me to handle. The dub doesn't seem too bad, I'm just glad that they actually went with English...
Is anyone able to tell me how tall the Miss Hokusai ultimate edition is/is it the same height as AL other CE? I only have limited space for my Blurays and want to display them all together (which is why in the past I had to skip the Giovanni's Island UE)
Does anyone know if/what Paprika has as a reversible cover? I read on their site that it has a "Reverse Inlay design", I was hoping that it would be the Japanese Bluray cover (so that the slip and and cover are actually different).
Zavvi has Manga's newest Bluray movie releases (Paprika, Steamboy, Cowboy Bebop Movie) for £13.99 for Black Friday.

Ooh so happy that the Little Witch Academia manga is being translated, I almost bought it last year just for the art, didnt expect it to get localised because iirc it's a one-off.

"Latest batch of announcements. Coming next year we've got Land of the Lustrous, Love & Lies, Made in Abyss and Princess Principal."
Made in Abyss and Princess Principal were my two favourites last lesson and Last of the Lustrous is a favourite from this season so I'm super pleased :D
