I wonder why there was such a big gap between the digital editions of One Punch Man vol. 9 and vol. 10? Am sure I had vol. 9 back in May this year, but vol. 10 only comes out in a couple of weeks' time.
I never actually realised that Manga financed Dead Leaves - according to a recent article in NEO mag they even planned to release a game alongside it, but it got cancelled. For some reason, I always thought it was just an early Imaishi work, and didn't realise it had the added connotations of...
Completely missed that there was an early bird deal on Eva! How much was it going for?
Obviously disappointed about the Zeta Gundam delay - but had kinda guessed that might be the case at this point.
But on the flip side - if/when you guys get Wing on Blu-Ray... Oh My God.
While I've seen varying opinions on whether it's better for the film to stick closely to the source material or not, after seeing that new trailer (which pretty much copies the same scene from the '95 movie shot for shot, I'm kind of hoping it does stick closely to the original movie. While in...
Yup, while some fans are happy to import - personally a region free player / importing US discs is an expense I can't really afford at the moment - so any UK releases of Gundam are much appreciated. I'm not ready to give up hope yet!
It wouldn't surprise me if No-Rin had gone the way of Rainy Cocoa...
Am happy to wait as long as necessary for Zeta, but the shifting dates on it does worry me a little in terms of long term prospects for Gundam in the UK. Given the brutal reality of the UK market, I just worry that at some...
Am curious as to whether Zeta Gundam is still on course for Nov 28th?
I ask only as obviously there was stock for other late-Nov titles like Tatami Galaxy and Lucky Star available at MCM - but Zeta Gundam wasn't.
Am hoping we'll at least be able to get it before Christmas.
Was a big fan of them too - definitely gone before their time. It's a shame as there was a lot of critical praise for them and a loyal core fanbase, but they never quite managed to tip over into the big time. Think they maybe came along perhaps a little too late, when the phase for guitar bands...
I guess my point is, at this point, what's to separate Zavvi from the countless other anonymous warehouse sellers on the likes of Amazon marketplace? When the prices all kind of merge into an easy equilibrium, aren't they all just variations of a man selling stock out of a mail order warehouse...
I have to admit I'm amazed Zavvi is still going. Even Play/Rakuten has folded by this point. I mean, Zavvi can't exactly have blockbusting sales, can they?
That Eva set looks pretty tasty.
Yeah - things seem to have gone very quiet on Claymore. Personally, it wasn't a title I was super chomping at the bit to get (like Escaflowne or Gundam) but it does come back to the thing I mentioned before about a certain unease I have about titles announced...
I still remember the wing-bursting scene in the first ep being genuinely shocking. And even if the show is kinda showing its age now in terms of digi-paint etc, that scene in particular is ridiculously fluidly animated - has a real sense of momentum and energy to it.
Am kind of glad of a bit of space - after grabbing Lucky Star, Tatami Galaxy and Escaflowne at MCM - need a bit of space to get ready for the FMA box-set.
Funnily enough I got stuck on that exact same place too - I think it's a notorious spot!
I remember having to leave my Playstation on all day mid-fight while I went to school, and then pick it back up again once I got home.
