I wanna make a custom box for Lady Oscar: The Rose of Versailles to hold both Discotek collections! I found a scan of the Japanese box art, blew it up like 6 times then cleaned it up and put the US logo on the spine.

Hopefully this means something similar is gonna happen for K-On and Haruhi! I'll preorder all of 'em!

I didn't know that about Akira! I might attempt importing the Japanese release at some point. Hopefully Manga does something about Wicked City.

Their DBS set was great, this box is ok too but what a missed opportunity, I'm sure they could have worked with DiscoTek...

Got my box, looks like the Manga UK dub isn't included, which is funny considering who released it. It's missing all the interesting extras from the US release too.

Anime-on-line put the artwork up after people started noticing they each had pages on their site. I was hoping for bulkier boxes, hopefully they get something like that with booklets and lil extras, would be great!

Got my Dragon Ball Super box, it's pretty good other than the 20 pieces of sticky stuff to hold the info sheet on, I tried preserving it but it ripped up, and now there's 16 dents on the back and 4 on the front. A few discs were loose and one was hidden behind another but it's all here at...

Will it? I was told that even the Japanese releases have the US DVD opening and ending since 2005, though the Japanese Netflix version has the original openings and endings.. Why would they not touch them? I thought they were going to do every Nozomi release.

Good to hear, I bought parts 2 and 3 what feels like a month later when they went on sale through AL's site and according to the emails parts 2 and 3 shipped first, I thought I'd have to wait for those two parts. Hopefully they arrive today. Actually it just arrived! All 3 parts in the box too...

This was just a quick mock up, I just want something like this now, I feel like I waited for years for Dragon Ball to get a US Dragon Box release and this would be perfectly fine, I don't care anymore, 4 discs, thick hardcover book, defaults to Japanese with English subtitles... would be cool.

Thanks! I whiped this one for Chobits up quickly too, just so it has a nice box, based on the Japanese blu-ray but I couldn't find that specific art, so I reused art. It'd be nice to be able to make this one day too. Here's a video of the Cowboy Bebop box too.
