Technically it's not manga, but today I've been reading Van Von Hunter vol 1 (from the winners of the first Rising Stars... competition. It's just the kind of thing that appeals to my sense of humour, so I've also been catching up on the online webcomic version.

Depends what you mean by cheap; Otaku have it for about £33 which imo is good value for 26 episodes (with free delivery, and they're based in this country so no customs), I doubt you'll find a legit copy much cheaper than that. Rewatching the series has actually left me wanting to check out...

My Tsubasa Chronicle OSTs arrived today...the "Japan mini" that came with them was a bit disappointing though, I thought it would be an anime-related gashapon but it just looks like a Kinder egg toy. Also went to the local bookshop and got Lament of the Lamb vol 1 and Van Von Hunter vol 1.

In light of my latest 'obsession', I've changed my avatar to Layla Ashley from Avenger.

Having temporarily got fed up with all of my unfinished RPGs, over the past few days I've been replaying Ratchet and Clank (on a gold weapons save). I've just finished that, so now it's time to try R&C2 in Challenge Mode and upgrade all the weapons I didn't bother with first time around.

Even though I haven't seen Berserk yet (I'll order it once the evil moneymaking schemes come to fruition) and so only know Guts 'by reputation', I still feel he's worthy of my vote this time around.

As I said the other day, I'm quite interested in Heat Guy J, and on closer inspection I think I'll give Karas a go too. As for 2nd GIG, I'll probably rent the singles as they come out and wait for the hopefully inevitable boxset.

I can't say I'm the biggest fan of the FMA dub myself, but I'll probably watch it anyway once it gets to the episodes I haven't seen. Of the other things announced, I'm interested in Saikano and also Heat Guy J, although admittedly the latter is mainly because I hear Yuki Kajiura did the music ;)

I just ordered the two Tsubasa Chronicle OSTs (unfortunately the Limited Editions have just gone out of print, so no notebook and pen for me)- initially hadn't planned to buy them both but I wanted to take advantage of yesasia's free delivery.

My Aquarian Age thinpack and Avenger collection arrived today. The Avenger set is different to say the least, the DVD holders are in the lid and bottom of the tin they come in, with a piece of foam stuff separating them. Still, it also comes with four mini-cells and the tin itself looks good.
