Starship Operators is a great series. I got the Geneon release of that way back so it is nice to see that get rescued by MVM for release over here. MVM had already mentioned that they had the Second Barrage back when they announced the first series if memory serves me correctly.

ADV have lost the rights to it worldwide but the Bandai licence is for the US only. This means that the UK licence is up for grabs but the liklihood of it using the ADV dub would be highly unlikely regardless of who gets it.

ADV tends to do that a fair bit as well. It really depends upon what the series is, how much it costs and in many cases what they are provided with.

Naruto was handled by Manga alone whereas Bleach seems to be in conjunction with Viz. As for the reason for them not correcting the subtitles that would be the costs of BBFC certification they would have to go through to do that for what would be very few extra sales.
