Honestly, the audio isn't even the biggest crime with that one; the English subtitles are absolute garbage. It was especially disappointing when Anime Limited went to the effort of getting the TV series retranslated (after Netflix had their own issues with subtitles...), and then didn't bother...

I prefer the original light novels myself, but I'd say to a degree it depends if you prefer LNs or a more visual medium like manga (I like both, so when a series is done well in both LN and manga, I just end up reading both 😅 ).

The manga keeps a lot of the dialogue, at least from what I saw of Volume 1 when I reviewed it a few years back. :)
