I would be entirely guided by @Dai on the magical girl genre, and if anything haven't seen most of the older shows. Hence I thought it would be very interesting to get a taste of how the genre has developed going back to its roots.

I'm watching this now as well since netflix nabbed it, and I had literally only just signed up to hidive😂 primarily for this show, just as netflix nick all their titles. I have to actively hold myself back to stretch it out (have 2 episodes left)! Look forward to rewatching as soon as season 3...

For what it's worth I'm still waiting for my Nadia and mystery box sets, but then I did have in there some crunchyroll pre-orders with the last one due for release in Feb so I'm guessing they will be posting them all out together once the final pre-order releases.

I'd agree with one a month for ~12 episodes or so, as it gives people time to catch up from busier days/weeks. Whoever can be most bothered, or is most knowledgeable or excited about the chosen one can set up the thread I guess? Or we take turns? I'm yet to set one up, and never did get around...

Indeed, I always enjoy and appreciate it when we get anime doing more adult characters as well, but ultimately we all want to relive our childhoods so fair enough😂. Despite having an idea from its synopsis, I utterly adored for the curveball it threw within the first few minutes in this regard.

I'd recommend Horimiya, My Teen Romantic Comedy Snafu, Toradora, Golden Time, The Pet Girl of Sakuraso, Teasing Master Takagi San. I've got that on my list to watch so would definitely up for simulwatching that.

That's true and I felt that it was partially down to her trying to put on a brave face, but probably more related to a loss of affect and the blunting of emotions experienced in depression.
