Top tip and I can't remember if I've ever tried this before, but have always have a hard time watching stuff, as usually only have time late at night when everyone is asleep. Not fun scrambling for the remote during those instant transitions of whispering dialogues to bombastic shouting or...
Ah Biomega, that takes me back and another excellent work of Nihei's not far off from his BLAME! before his more mainstream-friendly but also excellent narratives such as Knights of Sidonia.
Personally I'm so very bored of the Marvel/DC movies since the avengers end game or jeweled fist or whatever it was called movies, but good ol' Pedro Pascal is almost tempting me back heh.
That Eizouken CE! Hmmm, maybe I'll wait for the SE. Will finally get to watch the final Eureka Hi-Evo movie, time to plan a rewatch for the main series then.
Ah, I thought there had been a very limited run for the Japanese market only but didn't realize about the pre-order Kickstarter thingy. Shame, if there was enough (or any?!) international publicity on that, I suspect that would have been easily surpassed.
Thanks for the info and likewise, I love that show. Was kind of hoping there would be a Japanese release with English subs, but clearly Netflix has other ideas. Nevertheless, after seeing how AL actually got their mitts on releasing that that stunning Devilman Crybaby set, I will remain...
Takopi's Original Sin episode 1
Is it just me or does the sound of summer cicadas in anime instantly evoke simultaneous feelings of dread and appreciation for the beauty in the world? Anime horror creatives certainly use their fear-inducing priorities to maximum effect for anyone that's seen...
May she be at peace now. Feeling sympathy or empathy at least reminds us that we haven't completely lost our humanity with the way things are in the world these days. Hope you feel better soon and hope her family or loved ones, if she had any, are coping as best as can be.
Likewise, I quite enjoyed the Netflix live action series so was assuming the anime would be great too, only to find it's one of those made as a hook for the manga, which always feels like a shame, moreso if the source material is adaptation worthy.
Heh I'm the same with Megaman, admired from afar but never played one I don't think! And yeah like you, I think I'll be more tempted to buy the new one when there are more new games out that are unique to it. In the meantime I have a very long list of switch 1 games yet to play heh.
I concur...
Ah good old WWF!, can't remember how many years it has been since I watched wrestling.
I feel the same with time, even if there were a Simulwatch going on I would really struggle to keep up at present. Really wanted to get a random one going for general discussions on shorter series and movies...
Busier than ever these days, so I don't get to spend as much time on this forum as I used to and my dreams of properly getting into simulwatches have therefore bitten the dust 😞. Still, continue hanging on with life's pressures as we all must do😅.
I recall you loving your switch, did you get...
If I remember correctly I didn't have this in my collection at the time and hadn't watched it elsewhere either! When I did get it eventually, I did not find it to be anything special sadly. Even with his upcoming new one, I'm rather more interested in the wolf children 4k edition release heh.
I really want this, but I recall seeing here that there was a UK release planned, so I'll wait for that. Especially given that horrid region A insignia I spy.
