Techincally it's all one season, the boxset I have carries the numbering on, its just a 49 ep show. Agree with you though on the shame of FINAL not getting released over here, that is one awesome anime. Let's see, a long shot but Fumoffu? even if you already have it, always worth a rewatch.

I've actually done both of these...I think the DVD issue was with Rahxephon, went away to have a think about it then came back and bought the last four Volumes I needed. Manga it was Shaman King but I can't remember which vol number it was.

Well if you class movies as reboots then there's many more. Like in the gundam franchise, the original three movies (no proper storyline changes really), the Zeta movies (Complete with changed ending) the 0083 compilation movie. I could go on forever like this.
