Oh yeah It is kind of daft in places, very typical pulpy 80's manga and like you say it definitely has the feel of italian b-movies and many older anime OVAs in that it borrows a lot from American cinema but in a fun way. Definitely my kind of thing.

Got this rotating display stand for action figures and model kits today from Amazon. It fits brands like Bandai SH Figuarts/Robot Damashii and pretty much any other 5-7 inch figures and probably a few a little bigger than that. It'll work with Mafex, Figma, most Banpresto prize figures...
