Also worth noting:
A-ko The Versus, an AU Project A-ko spin off, is in licensing limbo. due to being produced by a different company that no longer exists.

Hopefully they'll be able to sort the rights issues out down the road.
If they license the 1979 film, maybe you can try that instead as a taster. I don't really care about sports but I found the film quite entertaining, Osamu Dezaki's directing is so good; it's fun how they depict tennis matches like it's the Vietnam war. Dezaki stuff is turbo charged and all the...
On that note, I'm still waiting for a replacement cover for Revolutionary Girl Utena Part 2 to be sent. Been two years and nothing. It arrived damaged so it'd be nice to get a replacement.

These are my two guesses.
UPDATE:
Mystery Film Seems like this is Garden of Remembrance by Naoko Yamada
Mystery Film 2 Seems this is Her Blue Sky by Tatsuyuki Nagai
Hopefully AL would be able to do an in-house produced edition of Nadia with the omake OVAs included. The Japanese BD even has the omake shorts, so I'm not sure why Gkids skipped out on them.
It's a shame the Another World shorts are not included. From what I heard, they're required viewing to get more context on the plot. Were they not included in the licence?
I'd love to see the proper HD remaster of Cyber City Oedo 808 get a UK release. Also, the Discotek Blu-ray of Memories deserves a UK release, that's been OOP for far too long now.
Yeah I think Detective Conan could have appeal in the UK market. It's basically like an anime take on Midsomer Murders and Agatha Christie with a hint of Inspector Gadget
Kind of surprised by this news, since GKids / AL have most of the Shinkai catalogue. Guess it's one part of having a monopoly on the market. While being distributed by CR does make it more likely to be shown at multiplexes, I do hope it can still show at SLA if possible, especially since it'll...
The JPBD for Mobile Suit Gundam: Cucuruz Doan's Island is releasing on June 3rd, 2022, the same day as the theatrical release in Japan, and it has English subtitles.
For my money, Hosoda's films started to go downhill once he took full control of the scripts. BaTB and Mirai were insufferable for me, and were a major downgrade compared to his previous films. I'll give him one last shot with Belle, and if I don't like it, I'll avoid Hosoda's future output.
The first teaser for Makoto Shinkai's upcoming film Suzume no Tojimari, releasing in Japan on November 11th, 2022. I wonder if it'll get shown at SLA, since it isn't too far behind the Japanese theatrical release date.
