Yuri from Planetes. He was an interesting character who got some good development around the series' halfway point and then settled into the background for the rest.
It was for the better in terms of overall story, but I always felt there was a little more mileage in the character.
Me and a friend had a drinking game based around people getting shot by Revy in Black Lagoon. Unsurprisingly that got pretty rough towards the end :roll:
Looks crazy, in a good way. 'The Girl Who Lept Through Time' was great fun, and it looks like a similar spirit has been captured here. I'll await it with great anticipation.
I started off with sci-fi, action and horror series mostly. I think Hellsing (TV) and GitS: SAC were my first. Over time a looked into less obvious genres such as slice of life and such. I think these days I'll watch pretty much anything from any genre, providing it doesn't suck.

Speaking subjectively I'd say absolutely. It's quite episodic for much of the series, but as a whole it's brilliant (particularly the ending).

When I first watched the GANTZ anime ending I actually thought it was okay. Not great or anything, but not as terrible as some seemed to find it.

A fairly bleak moment this time around I'm afraid. This page took longer than it should of due to some of the background details - I spent more time on them as I wanted to clearly establish the scene change.
The first series was solid enough, but flawed as Aion says. I really liked the style of the animation and concept of contractors. It's a shame it didn't take it all somewhere more interesting.

The worst anime I currently possess is probably Karas and Afro Samurai Resurrection. They have some redemptive entertainment value thanks to their visuals and action, but they lack any real inspiration, character or plot.
There are far worse shows I've seen, but fortunately I've never paid...
