The minute I heard the episodes were shown daily, I was put off. For a start, they'd be showing mainly repeats within a month, and second of all, who has the time to watch an episode a day? I'm busy every Monday and Thursday night, and I'm normally out on Friday and Saturday too.

Okay, now it certainly looks like ADV are on the way out, Cancelling their most popular current series is not something any company would do unless they're dying. This is probably going to leave a lot of dead licenses. I'm lucky I saw 5cm in the cinema...

Gah, waste of a Wind Waker level. Same for the Sonic level I was hoping for something more exciting. Ah well, Sakurai and co have done a great job with the whole game - I can't wait to get it.

There are loads of fake character selection screens going about - are you sure that's the real thing? I'm tempted to believe it is - the Wind Waker Link image doesn't look like any image I've seen before, but it could be fanart. But isn't the character selection screen usually white?

Well yes, but you can't say the same for Delfino Plaza, Yoshi's Island, Smashville, Rumble Falls, Skyworld, Wario Ware, Pokemon Stadium, Pictochat, Mario Circuit or Distant Planet, to name a few. You can't avoid that some stages are going to be "dark", there is night-time in Nintendo games too.

Wait... are ADV UK really completely "finished"? I can't be bothered reading seven pages of debate, but I didn't think they were dead yet...

I can't help but get the feeling frin all these Sonic/Mario crossovers that Nintendo are giving SEGA some advice on where to take Sonic... Just a feeling, no proof. But it does seem like Sonic and Nintendo are getting very palsy.

I'd bet I'm the biggest Sonic fan on the boards, and I have no intention of playing this game.

I aciddentally bought two sets of Excel Saga. I imagine that one of them will end up on ebay eventually, when I have a clearout, but I don't plan on ripping anyone off!

Notice that Anime-on-line have sneakily put all (at least all the ones I looked at) the sold out DVDs from ADV up to full price, now that they're rarities. Crafty.

Really? I've played the first two, and the second game especially lasted quite a while.

Kirby: Power Paintbrush is great fun, not that well known. Also, the Sonic Rush games are great. I didn't like Zelda as much as everyone else, but mainly for it's role in the series, not the game itself. It's definately worth a shot. But don't be surprised if you complete the dungeons in ten...

I don't think it's been confirmed it was suicide yet - he may have just had one too many... pills. But it does seem strange that he would arrange for a massage before ODing. My thoughts... sure, he was a good actor. But if a good accountant with a family decided to commit suicide, would...

He doesn't get any more sympathy from me than any of the other dead people who have done much more remarkable things with their life but never recieved any press coverage. But I guess The Dark Knight will be an even bigger hit now.

Anime games are generally crap anyway. I'm not bothered ^_^
