Your best and worst of Spring season 2019

It's that time again and honestly this has been one of the most dissapointing seasons in a long time especially for new anime. Anyway what did you rate and what did you hate? Great/ Excellent Attack on Titan S3pt2 Once again it delivers the goods, fast action and mystery thrown in. WIT will be...

Overlord is great. It's a bit Isseki but mostly dark fantasy. The Characters are fantastic

I suspect this will be the final anime series for the show. The Manga is finishing anyway.

What did you RECEIVE today? PHOTOS EDITION!

I don't really agree with this. I love the posters for all the Kizu films so IMO it works fine. The Aniplex sets were to be frank rubbish, it's a shame the BBFC logo is on there though. Should have been a sticker.

Thing that annoys me most about this is that Jerome will probably moan saying LE don't sell but its just not the case. if you get your SPR right and don't limit the release to Zavvi people will buy it. I didn't buy it as I had already imported and Manga were late to the party when they announced...

Very dissapointing Overlord doesn't get a LE. Mainly due to Manga's poor price point and zavvi exclusive. They should have dropped the fabric poster to save costs as well. I'm going to have to import now.

UPDATED: Funimation Acquires Manga Entertainment UK

That's just poor business practice. It's only something Manga can confirm really but I don't see why Manga would have to pay Funimation for shows they have the rights to anyway. As I said there has to be an advantage to the takeover.

UK Anime Distributor Crunchyroll/Funimation/Manga UK Discussion Thread

My only surprise with all this is that it didn't happen like 2 years ago when Funimation jumped ship with Manga. I suppose Sony have given then the cash and focus to expand. Business wise it makes alot of sense, cheaper costs for licencing and access to Manga's catalogue are the advantages here...

UPDATED: Funimation Acquires Manga Entertainment UK

That make no sense whatsoever. What would one part of a company pay another part of a company for something they already have? There has to be some advantage of the takeover and licencing has to be one of them.

UPDATED: Funimation Acquires Manga Entertainment UK

With Funimation taking ownership it automatically means it's cheaper for them to put out releases. If Funi owns the Western or English rights to a title then it's no cost to Manga to licence it where as before they would have had to sub licence for which there would be a cost. Hopefully this...
