Sony have a large anime catalogue and it would make sense to fill up some of the time with anime. I wouldn't rule out stuff like Blood+ on it or in comedy shows like the Boondocks and Dilbert on it. Now would be a good time for Paradox to email Turner and ask for their take on this........

I did get an email from adult swim asking to take part in a focus group, unfortunately I don't live anywhere near central London. That would suggest they are looking at something anyway.

I don't know, I think unless they had some sort of deal with FX that if the figures were good the could renegotiate their contract. I don't think TBS would launch adult swim as it's own channel, because whether you hate to admit anything other than Family Guy on the US adult swim barely...

I'd hazzard a guess and say it will be AXN they are launching, however I wouldn't rule out some sort of Animax block with Boondocks flung in.

It's not unknown for SPT to put Animax on AXN, it has done as a block as it has done in several countries. SPT also own the rights to Boondocks, Home Movies and the studio that's produced Robot Chicken and Moral Orel for Adult Swim.

It won't as Film 24 is due to shut down, Sony are letting Canis take control until SPT launch their unknown channel in 2011. A likely guess is that it will either AXN or something.

I don't think it was that to be honest, it was possibly something else as it was only a half hour or so long. Ah, Channel 4, it used to be good.

I remember Channel 4 used to show some anime and the like at night and I can remember as recently as 2001, as they used to have a video game review show on at night and I video plus'd it for a review of Final Fantasy IX, I can remember anime being on before it.

Such a brilliant film maker, I'm generally saddend today.
