This is a nice idea and I too am keen to learn a few bits of Japanese. I'll get to practice in a couple of weeks when I'm over there (have I mentioned that I'm going to Japan? :P ) But I think that there are one or two people on here who'll go nuts when they see this thread!!

I’ve just bought two tickets for the Studio Ghibli museum for 10am on the 11th November. It’s weird that a) you need an advance ticket and b) it has to be for a specific time and date.

Couldn't argue with that even though being somewhat self contradictory, the brutal violence was one of my favourite aspects of the show. My complaint in that regard would have to be the 'spilt paint' look of the blood. But perhaps unrealistic blood was an attempt to temper the extreme violence.
