Overseas Upcoming Non-UK Anime BD/DVD Artwork

The Ancient Magus Bride (Funimation title distributed by Madman) Time to import the Funimation US release since Madman clearly thinks that printing the logos on the box and therefore making the title smaller than the logo is better than printing an additional piece of paper to wrap around the box.

Made in Abyss arrived. The "large poster" and book are housed inside a smaller box. The book is a glossy finish (Sentai's was a soft finish), and the poster is small.

UK Anime Blu-ray & DVD Bargains

I doubt they'll have anything discounted since they just had a sale that ended yesterday (Australian time). Also, don't limit yourself to JB Hi-Fi Australia as their New Zealand site sometimes has prices cheaper than the Australian site.

Re:ZERO's Video Quality in UK/US discs Discussion

Madman's release is a Funimation distribution title, so they're sourcing their master from Funimation. Which is to say, Funimation are fixing the discs, so don't expect a great encode, just a fixed one.

UK Anime Distributor Anime Limited Discussion Thread

I messaged Madman months ago, and they said that they weren't planning to do an anniversary set, so them replicating AL's set is probably them being lazy to make their own set.

Sly from Madman said they had a new distribution deal with Funimation only. Also, the spine does still have Crunchyroll, Funimation and ABC Animation logos on it, with Madman's logos not there.

So Madman put out the image for the contents of the Made in Abyss Limited Edition. I wonder how "premium" the packaging is since NGNL0 was advertised with "premium" packaging and came in a soft cardboard box, rather than in a chipboard box.

Yeah Madman delisted Free! Season 1, BBB&B, Seven Deadly Sins, Hyouka a few days ago. They also changed some of the releases from Combo to Blu-ray only (Dragon Maid, Interviews with Monster Girls), and changed those catalogue numbers and barcodes to Australian ones. They also released images...

I received my Your Name replacement discs yesterday here in Australia. Don't know why they sent me 2 in separate shipping envelopes, when I only asked for 1, especially since shipping to Australia is pricey.

I legitimately have no clue what Madman is doing. I asked them about Free! and MP100, and mentioned that Free! was region A locked, and they just said this. I'm assuming that Funimation is remaking discs to work with region B, since Madman says they're importing it, but who knows what's gonna...
