A nearly non descript box if you didn't look at this side, but inside...
A nice little case for my 7" records.
Now I need to get one for the 12" records (just not anytime soon since I'm not going to have that many at the moment).
More music, although I'll have to wait for the replacement GPO PR50 to arrive (they did send a prepaid returns label so I got that sent out earlier on today) as tetris has some skipping issues which I'm currently putting down to cheap turntable syndrome as there things can't handle some things...
It's amazing the kind of stuff I was listening to some years ago.
I only got this because it has a track that was on one of my hand me down 7" (I can't complain given the £4.49 I paid).
And this might have been the icing on the cake if the headphone socket wasn't knackered (I could only get...
More 7" purchases (because the new eBay purchase system is stupid because even if you want to use paypal to pay, anyone that hasn't moved to the "enhanced" payment system has to be paid for separately and my bank is an ass in regards to cardholder not present transactions because if I go over 3...
More vinyl except of the old kind this time as I'm trying to rebuild my collection in case the stuff I originally had wasn't put into storage when my father moved.
Tracking on royal mail is flakey at best currently as I had a package shipped in December and the first update after "sender dispatching item" was when it reached the local mail centre, so only having "sender dispatching item" in tracking doesn't mean that royal mail doesn't have the item and is...
Some more music on vinyl
90's (although I'm doubting the 180g heavyweight vinyl declaration on the back as it doesn't feel as heavy as one of the a silent voice records).
A load of classic rock (I had to use my arm to remove the glare given off by the light bulb).
And to finish off a scale...
My first physical item purchase from the squareenix store (since all my other purchases were either digital or FF14 time cards) as it was on sale at the time and meant that I didn't have to pay £45 to Amazon as it only cost £24 after shipping was added (and would only have cost about £4 or so...
I got a thing that "experts" will tell you not to get because they think that they'll render records unplayable after a few plays when in fact they don't know crap and that these are pretty decent as long as they aren't above the acceptable tracking force for the stylus (and the standards set...
Site was only created at the end of may and all contact data is privacy protected (along with the site being hosted by name cheap and probably the domain was registered through them as well) so that is 110% sus and the poster a bot or spammer.
The postie came with packages, but the first wasn't what I was expecting would be turning up this soon.
The second delivery was what I was expecting as it had my first order from AL that most likely had taken the long road to get to me.
The backlight on my old TV gave out about a month or so after this whole pandemic thing started and I was going to wait until I'd gotten my room sorted out, but that plan has changed and I've decided to just have a smaller TV on my desk and another which will be my in bed TV (which is what this...
You wouldn't want this one as is was a fight and a half attaching both the back piece and the arm rests as I had a major struggle getting the bolts in as I had the seat base to deal with and the holes on the back and the seat base didn't line up with the arm rests.
Technically one of these was purchased 2 weeks ago and the other wasn't purchased today, but I only just assembled both today and both were buy and pick up I'm putting them here (one desk and one chair).
Final Fantasy XIV complete which takes me from the free trial tier (with a level cap of 35 (which would have gone up to 60 next week) and limited to a realm reborn (would have been upgraded to heavensward) content) to fully paid as Squeenix had it on sale at 50% off.
I decided that it was time to expand what I could stream with a USB based stop gap capture device and a 1 in 2 out HDMI splitter which will hopefully allow me to capture from my PS3.
I was hoping to be picking up a new desk today, but availability reared its ugly head once again with the only stock being miles away and I wasn't in the mood to be hauling a heavy flat pack on public transport (and I couldn't have anyway since you need to have a face mask on to board public...
