We'll have Tsurune Season 2 once art has been approved, but nothing else atm sorry. Christmas deals will most likely be sales on boxsets and Early Bird reruns.
Seeing the news on Nadia we decided to check the disc for the standard BD collection (which is available to all retail) and can confirm e18 plays e10 (we have only checked on BD player however). We've temporarily disabled it on our site for the time being all the same.
Yes that threw me off as well when uploading! Release schedule update that was sent out though definitely states only two discs for part 2 and doesn't appear to have any physical extras like a mini book etc. So both parts are strictly 4K disc only.
Majority of stock is now in the new warehouse and sorted, just a few miscellaneous titles that have yet to be put in - sadly this is one of them. We have chased it up and just get the "working as fast as possible" response. But we are hoping stock to be back in around next week. Apologies for...
Yes, unfortunately manufacturing and printing starts to take a little longer in the run up to Christmas. Hopefully there won't be any further delays and we'll receive stock start of December.
Yes the reverse spine was annoying to see when I opened the stock. We have a new designer so will have to mention this to him for upcoming CEs providing they haven't gone through to printing. But as you say, it can just be flipped and doesn't look out of place.
We've temporarily disabled it on our site. The warehouse issue did cause initial delays but we've been in touch with Anime Ltd - it seems Amazon took far too much stock than needed and are currently just sitting on it. Anime Ltd are in the process of getting stock sent back to the warehouse but...
For the record the warehouse move only applied to our stock and Anime Ltd stock (as we're both handled by the same supplier) - Crunchyroll is handled with a different supplier.
On a separate note with pre-release, we tend to order about two weeks before release date - initial stock will arrive...
Luckily as the stock arrived well in advance, none was actually shipped to stores so all copies will have the new disc. Only our customers would have received the faulty disc, but yes anyone with the faulty disc wanting a replacement can just email us at help@anime-on-line.com.
Due to the Japanese licensor request we've had to temporarily disable selling the product until artwork has been approved. Previous orders are still in the system and will be back up once art is finalised.
I don't think we'll be looking into it at any time soon sorry. A personal shame as I've always enjoyed Tenchi. The original OVAs and movies sold well back in the day, but I think Tony was put off by the length of Universe and Tokyo's episode content and reviews, fearing they wouldn't sell as well.
This was the title I was referring to. We're hoping to work with Discotek for more potential releases. End of the day it's down to whether UK rights are available.
At the moment this seems to be available only as streaming, and with Crunchyroll. So we would have to see if we would be able to sub-license, as well as doing masters/authors etc similar to Yuuna.
It certainly never came out for retail and would seem strange they would make a standard BD exclusive to them. We did it have listed briefly when it was announced but it was later removed from schedule for reasons unknown and has never appeared again. I had always assumed it was due to the 4K...
