@Rui , think you're correct here. Amazon also has a hub in Lauwin-Planque which is near the Belgium border, so sometimes when I ordered something in the past it was actually shipped from that hub.

Funny enough (well no it’s no funny situation at all) you can order the US versions without a problem. Guess it will take a while before the Brexit dust settles down, and it’s bad for customers but even worse for the distributors I guess.

Yes guess I wasn’t clear enough on this, anyone outside the UK simply cannot order this set. So i’m still open to offers from someone to ship it to me from the UK, off course I’ll pay the necessary shipping costs.

@D1tchd1gger , great price for that figure. Where exactly did you pre-order it? When I look at the Belgian Archonia store, the price there is 219,99€ which is a lot higher than what you paid.

Sure thing, last I can remember was ordering and receiving the DVD of the Roma film, which I only discovered when I actually got it ... yikes 😚 Or ordering/receiving the same Blu-ray again when you actually already have it .... well done that to, so now I have Drifters (yep that one too) CE...

On what did you watch it? Received my copy today, and might check it later this week on a 65” plasma TV.

Might also get it as I have their other Kickstarter releases, and I was a little gutted when Megazone 24 was US only shipping in their last Kickstarter.

I would be curious to know how many EU customers the smaller distributors like Anime Ltd. or MVM have, as I suspect a lot of those will no longer order UK releases as the prices with custom charges will be to high for some of those buyers. So that could cut in the revenues they have with EU...

@MVM , what can be done for orders made in 2020, but only shipped in 2021 like was the case for Dr. Stone which shipped this week? As it stands now, it probably will get hit with custom charges and I’ll have paid VAT twice that way.

My copy of FMP IV also shipped today, i’m curious if this one will get hit with custom charges or not. If it does I’ll just need to contact AL to somehow refund the UK VAT as it doesn’t make sense to pay VAT twice.

Or that you don’t get hit with custom charges like I did :) one consolation I have is that my copy arrived in absolute perfect condition. Where did you order your copy from?

Following up on my own message here. Finally got my payment back from Kimchidvd after a month mailing back and forth. Oh boy was this ever a bad experience getting a refund for this one, seemed like they kept me hanging for ages until they finally caved and provided the refund as they still...
