    No Good Life

On another note, I was reading a Korean web comic the other day called Temptation Moon, it's about a vampire who doesn't want to live, and he has failed to commit suicide for like the 325th time. He lives in a world that worships science over religion. It has an interesting premise.

What you guys doing right now.

@Godot - In response to your earlier post. Just wanted to say that guy sounds like a bit of a jerk. Sometimes teachers can say horrible things (I know from experience.) It makes me wonder why on earth they became teachers in the first place. But get well, rest up and I hope your exams go okay...

    General TV Discussion

@Jayme - It looks like we both like the same character in Skins so far. The first episode was rather excellant, in my opinion. It takes some seriouse guts to dress like that on the first day of Sixth Form. But that scene with the Metalhead when he hijacked the music, certainly brought back...

    General TV Discussion

I can't believe I'm going to say this but I'm actually watching Skins, and I am somewhat actually liking it. Also, that Turning Japanese programme. The presenter guy was like, " I don't like manga etc... but I'm sure Japan has more to offer me..." And what does he do? He goes to a Love Doll...

Tegami Bachi REVERSE - It's my new obsession. The hero is also the anti-hero of the story.

    The General Conversation Area

@Arbalest - Hope you feel better soon Randomness but... I was in Nando's yesterday and I was perplexed to discover the portion sizes of their chips had shrunk. I mentioned this to a staff member who informed me that Head Office had said to reduce the portion of chips from 220g to 170/180g...

    Japanese Language Courses in London?

Ohayou Vashdaman Sorry for the late response, only just spotted your reply. As it happens I know someone who is transfering to this course. First of SOAS courses are pretty intensive, (but don't let this put you off) but they will get you to a decent standard. However, be prepared to put the...

    Misadventures on Twitter

Just discovered that the lead singer of my favourite band when I was 17, is now following me on Twitter. O_O Too scared to Tweet! OMG! What am I going to do?.>< M.G

    An interesting scenario~

Best reason to not listen to your iPod I have ever heard... Seriously, Godot, great example, you wouldn't be able to make this up! However, this situation has an eerie similarity to Kino's Journey.

Ah, whenever I hear about Coldplay, all I ever remember is meeting Chris at the Blackwood Miners Institute in Wales. They were a support band to Terris back then and I asked him to sign my Blue Room EP. He was well chuffed and shook my hand as he thought no one was coming to see them play. Bless...

    What's Your Motto?

"Giving up is not an option." Which also happens to be the same motto as Tom Barman from Belgian indie band dEUS.

What you guys doing right now.

Reading a Korean web comic called 'Ties of Compassion' about two friends: a bored girl and a boy who hates his own popularity. By far the best thing I have read recently.

    Japan Questions

@ Rui - Loved that comment about BL. :) @Mo3ooo - Seriously, you could spend the whole time in Tokyo, its a huge metropolis with so much to see. I went on an anime/manga trip the last time I was there but what I found the most fascinating was the non-anime/manga stuff. If you dont know the...

    Japanese Language Courses in London?

Hey Kaede How is the course going? I'm now on year 2 of the course, which is pretty intense. What I would say is a beginners course teaches students in the 'masu' form. Basically, the polite form of speaking, which is good for business japanese. However, most Japanese people speak in...

Just had a perculiar Death Note moment that I thought I would mention here. I have a Death Note wallet that I have had for three years. In all this time, even in London no one has noticed it. Its so old its falling apart now. It was only when I am out in the sticks in Warsash village does...

    Kino's Journey

Everyone probably already knows I'm a Kino fan, but what the heck, I will say it again: I love Kino! Its by far one of the most interesting anime's I have seen. And the light novel is very philosophical - don't be fooled by the teen style cover. It's one of those books that make you stop and...

What manga are you reading now?

Been reading and re-reading Kuroshitsuji, can't seem to put it down... Also been checking out the latest NANA chapters. By far the most impressive josei series I have read. The recent plot twist took everyone by surprise. Teens in America will be crying their eye's out...
