I’m in the middle of a Yona of the Dawn rewatch, and every time I hear the opening theme, I get flavours of nu-Battlestar Galactica turning into Thunderbirds.

For example, here's disc 2 of a similar era release of a SAVE Oh Edo Rocket and to look at it, it's as if someone glued two discs together. It plays just fine. EDIT: Also, if you have a DVD drive for a computer, then installing VLC will allow you to play DVDs from any region.

Have you played the discs, or is it just a visual inspection of the surface? Because some Funimation DVDs actually have a patchy look to them as seen in your photo, but play just fine. DVD delamination, a.k.a. disc rot tends to have a residue on the surface of the disc, which feels sticky...

It now looks as though Warner Bros Discovery is up for sale again, so any ongoing projects are a little bit Schrödinger’s cat. This could very well be the shortest lived comic book franchise in history.
