A couple of recent BDs

With Volume 7 arriving, I've just finished rereading all of A Silent Voice. Still remains one of the most heartfelt and poignant series I have ever read. I'm very interested to see how KyotoAni adapt it into a single movie.

Thanks for setting up the backup board Rui. Sucks that this happened. I've taken this as impetus to set up a password manager. Currently changing every single one of my passwords to something unintelligible. Long and arduous process, but should be worth it in the end.

Hooray! FMA is still my all time favourite anime (in both forms) so great to see it back in the UK. Alas, had I known about this a few months ago I wouldn't have imported the Funi Collector's set, but it'll be interesting to see what AL have up their sleeves for the Ultimate Edition. I use FMA...

I love steelbooks, easily my favourite form of disc packaging. The Elfen Lied steel case was pretty nice too, but I'm not so much of a fan of the hinged spine with no title. Shame Gankutsuou isn't an actual steelbook, but the art is still quite striking.

I have an irrational love for the original Xenoblade Chronicles. Needless to say I've been waiting a long time for the follow-up. So yeah: 20 or so hours in at the moment. The game demands a lot but it is oh-so rewarding.

Ahhh, I'd just imported the Funi sets too. Still, Eureka Seven is excellent and glad to see it coming back to the UK.

I'm back from Japan. Just trying to recover from the jet lag. Had an awesome time and I will definitely go back some day.

Oh man, just checked out Denden Town in Osaka. So overwhelming! Super Potato's selection of Retro games and merch was incredible. I swung by Animate too, managed to avoid buying anything immediately, but I'll be back. I also went to Wakkoqu in Kobe to try Kobe Beef. Best beef I've ever had...

Holy ****! I was just sitting here in a bar in Kobe with my friend (having just arrived from Kyoto) lamenting that we'll never see a new season of FMP. 10 mins later I see this news! It's about time!

Asiana Airlines. Just awaiting transfer in Seoul Incheon now. Lovely flight and great food.

Meanwhile, I'm currently sitting at the gate awaiting my own flight to Japan. Heading to Osaka first, then Kyoto and finally Tokyo. Can't wait!

I watched Tenchi back in the day on Toonami, but I never really kept up. Last one I watched was Tenchi in Tokyo. I should watch the remaining Ryo-Ohki OVAs one day. I always preferred El-Hazard anyway :P
