I don't think the majority of us dubs are hammy, most are dubbed reasonably straight up. There are some cases such as Emma-A Victorian Love Story and Princess Principal where a proper english accent is an absolute necessity. I can't imagine watching either series in japanese.

Just finished Call Of The Night and loved it.

Mayonaka Punch was one of my favorite vampire series from the past few seasons. It inspired me to watch Call Of The Night which I'm now doing and the first few episodes have been very good. Guess I'll have to watch S2 then I'm done with S1.

Release The Spyce-really good sol/spy girls series. Has a well written plot line and likeable characters and the dub is really good.
