Pop Team Epic - Ep 1 - What... The... Magical... F' did I just watch... twice(?)
Just checked the CR and HiDive versions, the French bit on HiDive was subbed on both versions, but considering there are hard-Japanese subs only for the 2nd part, maybe the 'joke' was to understand signs... and as...
I've seen them pop-up a few times when watching Hi-Dive and they've been appreciated by me. I've not watched anything historical though, so they may get more intense in that situation, but I couldn't say/
It's getting down the nitty-gritty now, so next week we'll hopefully just spend 1 ep on the Mazinger Z-esque enemies, and then we'll be down to the main event until March.
Which, if no-one from Universe 7 gets eliminated next week (I have a feeling on someone who may), that leaves 9 characters...
I do honestly wonder if they can't get the SuMo animation style to work for a Feature Film and that's why they went with a style closer to XY. I was thinking they may not have had time to work to the bigger cinematic style has doing the reboot in a safer fashion before committing to the SuMo...
I have it. Started reading it last night. Its a really nice matt and gloss hardcover, with nice thick paper. Just fantastic quality through and through.
I pretty much lurk over here, but on another anime forum I managed to rack up about 68,000 in about 3 years of being active. I haven't been involved heavily for 6 years and am still in there top 20.

I received my Attack on Titan Season 1 set a couple of days ago. Nothing about Gatchaman, Madoka Magica, Gargantia or AgK. I never received Dodax's shipping notification for AgK season 1, Gargantia or Gatchaman Insight though I did for the rest. Will follow-up tomorrow if nothing has arrived.
I assume its something that has continued from the VHS days. Anime used to be released the same way up until about 10 years ago. At least the sets are a lot cheaper than they used to be. I'd also guess its a supermarket requirement to get them on their shelves. I don't think they are fond are...
While I found a lot of Re Zero utterly frustrating, there was definitely some enjoyment in the simulcast experience and the fandom around it. Its probably a show that is a lot less enjoyable when binge-watched.
Doing the quick sums, I'd say the 3 in 1 omnibus volumes would be best. Approx £7-8 each on Amazon Marketplace. The big box set aren't much more expensive as they work out at about £3 per volume based on the marketplace price.
