Actually the viewing figures were very good. They always are very good for anime. It seems to be other issues that cause problems.

Probably the Japanese asking for extortionate tv license fees for the shows that were meant to be aired. It got stuck repeating GITS:SAC over and over didn't it. Licensing issues ruin everything.

NHK have funded the likes of Denno Coil, specifically to have it on their channel, so it'd be immense if something like that was shown. I find it absolutely pathetic that Denno Coil hasn't been licensed yet, actually.

I loved it as well, missed the chance to buy it on DVD though unfortunately. EDIT: Because I wanted the LE version in the sexy packaging, but it's OOP, so I might just buy the regular version as and when. Big Daft Punk fan as well, can't wait for a new album!

The Funimation website is 100% locked to the USA, but Crunchyroll is not. As I mentioned before you just need to check each title on Crunchyroll to see what countries can view a series.
