    [Overseas] Anime News & Announcements

Just checked the Madman January releases again, and those Funimation/Crunchyroll titles now have Crunchyroll and Funimation SKUs, and not Madman SKUs. The titles are literally just imports from the US, with identical barcodes to the US releases. That means that Free! Season 1, Dragon Maid...

Didn't mention Fruits Basket because it's a re-release. If it is because of the partnership, that could mean that Dragon Maid and Free! got transferred to Funimation as the other 3 are Funimation titles, since Madman doesn't work with Crunchyroll for titles. (plus it would make sense for Free...

    [Overseas] Anime News & Announcements

Madman seems to have added a few more titles to its January 2019 release schedule, including TWO Crunchyroll titles. So Madman now also has Blood Blockade Battlefront and Beyond, Free! Season 1, Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid, and Seven Deadly Sins Season 1. Interesting that Dragon Maid is also a...

The Q & A Thread (for questions that do not need a thread)

I have the original part set releases, and these are Funi discs. I'm pretty sure the complete season release is also Funi as well since Madman typically uses Funi discs a lot.

    [Overseas] Anime News & Announcements

Madman listed Made in Abyss limited edition for release in January 2019, but provided no other details about it. Considering the price of it being way less than Sentai's limited edition, I assume it has less stuff in it. I'm assuming that also means that MVM will have a similar release date to...

In Another World With My Smartphone listed for UK home video release this October, Drifters also listed

Two errors in the article: Drifters has both a DVD and a BD listing on Zavvi, so it's not just DVD only. Also, the Australian release for Drifters was also mentioned, and that is a DVD/BD combo, not just DVD only.

UK Anime Distributor Funimation UK Discussion Thread (Pre-Manga Merger)

On JB Hi-Fi's Stack Magazine website for release on 17 October 2018 with Yuri on Ice. It doesn't actually say the distributor, but considering the UK is receiving YoI from Sony, I'm just assuming that is also a Sony release.

UK Anime Distributor Funimation UK Discussion Thread (Pre-Manga Merger)

Can anyone confirm whether In Another World With My Smartphone will get a release? It seems to have been listed for release in Australia, and from what I can tell, Sony has been mirroring its releases in both of these regions with Black Clover and My Hero Academia.
