Finished My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!. Took a bit of a dark turn towards the end, with some pretty intense emotional trauma, but veered back for the traditional happy ending. Now to wait for them to release season 2 (and the movie).
Need something fluffy to take my mind off the impending Christmas concert yesterday, so a rewatch of Hakumei and Mokichi. so relaxing, and I survived the performance. Now halfway through the first season of My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!. It's fun but fairly predictable...
I really must stop looking at this thread! Picked up two that had been on my list for a while, Dragon Goes House Hunting and Monster Girl Doctor, (and the two WC Fields' BRs) for a total of £58.
As I said I'm only 3 episodes in, and that's the impression I get. Nana has been the one pursuing the men, according to the action so far. And I can see no grooming of her that she didn't welcome. It won't stop me watching the show.
Sakura Trick episode 1: One of the few from the MVM mystery boxes I didn't already have, but it's not for me. Were they supposed to sound like chipmunks?
Nana episodes 1-3: Well, I like one of the Nana's (the taciturn musician). The other Nana is a bit of a ditz, who can't seem to survive...
Gingitsune episodes 1-6 (rewatch): sold the BR and thought I'd give it one last watch, but got distracted by other stuff and only made it halfway before the post office opened. Enjoyable, and I can't remember why I decided to sell it now.
As Miss Beelzebub Likes complete series (rewatch): I do...
They have arrived. Sadly, it's all stuff I have previously bought in MVM DOTW's (should that be D'sOTW?). Don't know which is which, but they were separated in the box. (hopefully I've got the spoiler thingie worked out for the picture)
Full Clearing Another World under a Goddess with Zero Believers volumes 4-7: still enjoyable, apart from the constant "when will he be losing his virginity and to which of his many female friends" dialogue.
Yesterday bought Liz and the Blue Bird - Blu-ray Collector's Edition £14.99 and, from the BOGOF section, The Irresponsible Captain Tylor Complete OVA Series and My Next Life as a Villainess - All Routes Lead to Doom! Season 1 for £19.99.
Just popped in for a check of today's specials and...
Two Blu-Ray Christmas mystery bundles ordered. Is the other BR mystery bundle (the £9.99 one with the red question mark - like the DVD one) supposed to be DVD too?
Sherlock Hound episodes 13-24: excellent fun show. Don't come expecting much of a link to Holmes (apart from locations and some similarities in plot). The English dub was generally good, but regional accents were very dodgy (including the Japanese person who sounded like he was channeling Benny...
Riding Bean: Non-stop action, which stole so many scenes from The Blues Brothers. Bit of a dodgy story and the dub track was meh. I prefer Gunsmith Cats.
O Maidens In Your Savage Season complete series: Emotionally exhausting tale of teenage schoolgirls being dipped in the steaming cauldron of...
Sherlock Hound episodes 5-12: sometimes it's hard to resist a really fun series. My favourite so far is ep10, The White Cliffs of Dover (or the secret past of the intrepid Mrs Hudson, as I think it should be called). Lots of fun Victorian style gadgets and vehicles, many sort of familiar through...
Episodes 1-4 of Sherlock Hound, as I couldn't resist. Bit of retelling of some classic Conan Doyle stories, which a little more female character presence, which is nice. I think I am going to enjoy this. But I still have a dozen ballet/opera DVDs to get through. Just watched An Italian Girl in...
Been clearing my table of non-anime stuff. Got through some musical, kids stuff and black and white classics, as well as starting on my ballet/opera pile. Also rewatched I'm Giving the Disgraced Noble Lady I Rescued a Crash Course in Naughtiness, mostly to cheer myself up as I expect to be...
