Wasn't expecting that in the first 5 minutes lol. We got to see the new opening and ending for the series which are both good, as well as the official title of the series which is Higurashi Gou. Definitely feeling more like a sequel rather than a remake with that title. Loved the game of...

So nice to go back to the world of Higurashi again, especially seeing my favourite character Rena :D Really good first episode, love that they are using music from the original series, as well the original VAs returning. The new art style is quite good, though I think it will take me a few more...

Awesome :D Glad all the voice actors return as the characters would feel the same without them :) Definitely looks to be a remake, as they got some of the scenes from Onikakushi-Hen there. Also glad they got to use the music from the original series, as the music from the trailer was from it <3

If they do a remake, I would like the original VAs back as well as Eiko Shimaiya to do the OP again :D If they do any of the arcs in the PS4 and DS VNs, it would be very awesome. I just want a proper Beyond Midnight anime adaption.

So am I :D Can't wait to see what it ends up being, but I'm hoping for adaptions of the VN only arcs.

I have no idea why they are now charging for pre orders upfront, as they never emailed about the new policy. I have only found out about it when they try to charge all my existing pre orders at once

Just a heads up, that if you have any figures pre ordered at Play-Asia they are charging for pre orders including existing ones.
